Amazon is set to announce its acquirement of Electronic Arts (EA). The deal will mean Amazon would be a heavy hitter in the gaming industry, owning iconic franchises such as Apex Legends, Battlefield, FIFA, The Sims and more.

The news comes from For The Win, reported on behalf of GLHF, who expects the announcement to be made later today.
