Respawn’s Apex Legends has announced The Spellbound Collection Event, bringing 24 new cosmetic items to Apex Legends and most importantly, Seer’s heirloom, “The Showstoppers”.
The event will run from January 10th to January 24th, 2023.
Cosmetics include Legendary Skins for Mirage, Mad Maggie, Fuse, Vantage and Seer (pictured below) as well as Legendary Weapons Skins for the Flatline, Alternator and Spitfire. As usual, the epic tier cosmetics will remain unannounced until the event begins, these will include skydive emotes, ground emotes, holosprays and other cosmetics.
Seer’s heirloom, which is the first dual wielding heirloom since Lifeline’s heirloom, is called “The Showstoppers” and is obtained for free after collecting all 24 cosmetics in The Spellbound Collection Event. If you don’t collect all 24 cosmetics, the heirloom will be available in the Heirloom Shop after the event concludes.
A highly requested feature in the form of Private Matches will be available for all players once the collection event begins. This will allow players to host their own tournaments and custom private matches.
Respawn have announced that more details will be revealed closer to the update.
